Mathematics classes in LC-209 are SEMI-INDEPENDENT classes. These classes cover the same content as other Mathematics courses but use an entirely different method of instruction. Instead of attending regular lectures, students read and learn the material on their own. Tutorial assistance is provided Monday through Thursday in the Math Learning Center (LC 209). Students are required to take exams in the Math Learning Center about once a week (according to a schedule given out on the first day of class at a mandatory orientation).
